Terms and Conditions

Introduction

Welcome to the Australian Freestyle Football Academy (AFFA). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in our workshops and use of our services. By registering for or attending any AFFA workshop, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before registering.

1. Participant Agreement

By registering for an AFFA workshop, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old, or if under 18, you have obtained consent from a parent or guardian.
• You are in good physical health and capable of participating in freestyle football activities.
• You acknowledge that freestyle football involves physical activity and carries inherent risks of injury.
• You participate at your own risk and assume full responsibility for any injuries or damage that may occur.

2. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

You acknowledge that freestyle football activities involve physical exertion and risk of personal injury, including but not limited to falls, collisions, and muscle strains. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release, waive, and discharge AFFA, its owners, coaches, employees, and agents from any and all liability for personal injury, death, or property damage that may occur during or as a result of your participation in AFFA workshops.

3. Refund Policy

Refund requests must be made in writing via email. Processing time for refunds is typically 5–10 business days after approval.

Non-Refundable Circumstances:

• Failure to attend without prior notice or cancellation.
• Withdrawal due to personal reasons not related to AFFA.
• Cancellations due to weather, venue changes, or other circumstances beyond your control may be eligible for a rescheduling option or credit towards a future workshop.

4. Photography and Video Consent

By registering for and attending an AFFA workshop, you grant AFFA permission to photograph and/or video record your participation for the following purposes:

Your Rights:

• You have the right to opt out of photography and video recording at the time of registration or on the day of the workshop by notifying a coach or staff member.
• Opting out will not affect your ability to participate in the workshop.
• If you opt out, AFFA will make reasonable efforts to exclude you from photos and videos, but cannot guarantee complete exclusion in group shots or background footage.

5. Usage Rights

By consenting to photography and video recording, you grant AFFA a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to:

• Use, reproduce, and distribute your image and likeness.
• Edit, modify, or enhance photographs and video footage.
• Use content in any media format (digital, print, broadcast).
• Combine content with other materials for promotional purposes.

You will not receive compensation for the use of these materials.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal information collected during registration (name, email, phone number) will be used solely for workshop administration, communication, and payment processing. We will not share your personal information with third parties except as required by law or with your explicit consent. For details on how we handle your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

7. Payment and Charges

Workshop fees are processed securely through Stripe. By completing payment, you authorize AFFA to charge the full workshop fee to your payment method.

Payments are non-refundable except as outlined in our Refund Policy (Section 3). In the event of a payment dispute, we will work with you to resolve the matter fairly.

8. Conduct and Code of Behavior

Participants are expected to:

• Treat coaches and fellow participants with respect and courtesy.
• Follow all instructions provided by coaches.
• Refrain from aggressive, abusive, or disruptive behavior.
• Not consume alcohol or use illegal drugs during workshops.
• Respect the property of AFFA and other participants, including equipment and facilities.

Violation of these conduct standards may result in immediate removal from the workshop without refund.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

AFFA workshops are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied. We do not guarantee specific results or outcomes from participation. Skill development and progress depend on individual effort, prior experience, and dedication.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AFFA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your participation, use of our services, or any other interaction with AFFA.

11. Modifications to Terms

AFFA reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued participation in workshops following any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Sydney, NSW for the resolution of any disputes.
